After weeks of only wearing blush, white, and off-white to royal events, Meghan Markle has finally introduced another color into her official wardrobe: olive green.
The Duchess of Sussex just arrived at Prince Louis’s christening at St. James Palace wearing a belted Ralph Lauren dress, paired with a Stephen Jones hat, and matching pumps for the occasion, and sporting the shade from head to toe. She also appears to be carrying gloves.
Meghan and Harry were not named Prince Louis’s godparents. Instead, the list includes the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s close friends Nicholas van Cutsem, Guy Pelly, Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, Lady Laura Meade, Mrs. Robert Carter (otherwise known as Hannah Gillingham), and Kate’s first cousin Lucy Middleton.
But that shouldn’t be seen as a slight. It was unlikely that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be given the honor since they already serve the role of aunt and uncle in the little royal’s life.
Shortly after that, Meghan and Harry planned to head to Dublin for a two-day royal visit. Their itinerary in Ireland includes visiting Trinity College where they saw the Book of Kells, attending a summer garden party at the British Ambassador’s residence, and meeting with President Michael Higgins.
