A self-taught chalk artist who has been transforming the streets of Ann Arbor, MI for the last several years. He draws a delightful cast of characters throughout the city that passersby can’t help but smile at.

Since 2001, artist and illustrator David Zinn has stalked the streets of Ann Arbor, Michigan, creating temporary illustrations with chalk and charcoal.

This playful street art cleverly interacts with found objects and the surrounding environment, such as sidewalk cracks, bricks walls, street lamps, and flower petals, adding a delightful sense of 3D to the lively illustrations.
